Outdoor Grilling Recipes and Resources
It looks like the weather is finally heating up (for some of us). So, clean off your outdoor grill, gather your grilling recipes and get cooking. Every griller should have their own grilling bible, one book that answers all of their grilling questions and that is based on their expertise. The Thrill of the Grill is a great book for beginners. Chris Schlesinger, a grilling nut, wrote the book and states early on that his motto, "brown food tastes better." Born to Grill: An American Celebration is packed with color illustrations of techniques. This book has been lauded for its comprehensiveness as it covers every course from grilled appetizers to grilled desserts.
Weber's Real Grilling is a great resource for grillers hoping to impress their guests. The book features fancy recipes that will test the skills of any griller. This is a good option if you find that you are bored with traditional grilling techniques. The Internet is of course a great resource for anything. Nancy's Kitchen is a site that not only features mouth watering pictures but has amazingly basic but delicious recipes such as Cajun turkey burgers and grilled roast beef sandwiches. Perhaps the most enticing aspect of this website is that they rarely call for any ingredients that are difficult to find. The popular recipe-sharing site, All Recipes features a section for outdoor grilling section. This is a good resource for new grillers who can review each recipes feedback for tips and comments from users. The site also features videos for a select number of recipes. Amazing Ribs is the ultimate authority on how to grill the perfect ribs. They will help dispel some of the rumors of rib grilling and guide you through the process of making ribs that fall-off-the-bone, and their website is pretty funny to boot. The Grilling Gourmet is dedicated to providing recipes for those with a more refined pallet. Their recipes include poblano stuffed with chorizo shrimp and rice and Tuscan style roast pork with rosemary, sage and garlic. Today there are magazines for every hobby no matter how obscure. Not surprisingly there is a magazine, Grilling Magazine, which is exclusively dedicated to outdoor grillers.
